Conference about future Danish hospital construction projects to be very well attended

On May 24th, 2016, the Danish Minister for Health, Ms Sophie Løhde, will kick off the unique international conference, The Danish Hospital Construction Projects Conference and Expo 2016, which will be hosted by three Danish regions.

The hospitals have a total value of DKK 20 billion and are set to be completed within the next 10 years.

The conference hall has enough room for about 350 attendees and 37 exhibitors. At present, there are very few remaining seats and exhibition stands available at the conference, which takes place in Comwell Conference Center Copenhagen located only 8 km from the centre of Copenhagen.
- Interest in the conference has been overwhelming among construction companies and contractors of specialised solutions for the healthcare sector in Denmark and abroad, says Project Director, Helle Gaub, who is responsible for the construction of the Zealand University Hospital and the initiator of the interregional conference.

One of the international companies that has been prompt to book a seat and become a conference partner is the international contractor, Bussman.

The conference starts off with lunch and a short official welcome ceremony followed by a short talk about the Danish focus on hospital construction projects presented by the Danish Minister for Health, Sophie Løhde. The rest of the day will feature presentations focusing on hospital construction projects combined with networking, matchmaking and dialogue among the attendees in the exhibition area.

The three partners, Copenhagen Capacity, Invest in Denmark and Building Network, will also be present at the conference and will be standing by throughout the day ready to help companies establish themselves in Denmark and establish relationships with relevant advisors, partners and subcontractors.

During the conference, all attendees with have access to unique knowledge about the future hospital construction projects. The Danish Hospital Construction Projects Conference and Expo 2016 will take place in Comwell Conference Center Copenhagen located only 8 km from the centre of Copenhagen and 6 km from Copenhagen Airport. Metro, buses and trains are within walking distance of the conference center.
